AYSO Adult Soccer
AYSO Adult Soccer league is part of the North American Adult Soccer Association (NAASA). NAASA is in fact a division inside AYSO.
This is a recreational adult soccer program. No minimum requirement of soccer or physical skill is required. The league is designed to accommodate a wide range of player skill levels. Some players have never played soccer before, while other are highly skilled. The only requirement is that you come out to have some fun. The intent is to play soccer on the weekend and then go to work on Monday.
Player Eligibility: While the motivation behind the creation of this program comes from the parents, older siblings, and volunteers involved in our youth programs, the adult league is open to anyone 19 years or older.
Coaches: We recruit and train volunteer coaches. Classes are provided for each age group and master coaches are available for mentoring and assistance.
Programs: We offer two programs, Coed - 19 years of age and older, and Tier 2 - 38 years of age and older
Selection: Players are free to buddy-up, form their own team or they can just register and we will find them a spot on a team. There will be a limited number of teams. Applications received after the teams are formed are placed on teams with space available or placed on a waiting list
Format: Games are played on Sunday's. We try to schedule games in the afternoon or evening, but some games may be scheduled in the morning based on the field availability. The Fall leagues the Saturday after Labor Day, Spring seasons usually start the second Saturday in March. Our goal is to have at least 10 games each season.
Where do we play: Games will be played on fields in the City of Tustin and Hicks Canyon Elementary and in the Costa Mesa at Killybrooke Elementary. We have an occasional game at the Orange County Great Park Soccer Complex in Irvine.
