FALL 2024 REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR ALL CORE PLAYERS

Fall 2024 Season starts August 24, 2024 through November 2, 2024

Core Programs Offered:

Divisions: Playground (4U), 5U, 6U, 7U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, 19U

Games: Saturdays @ Kaiser, Harper, Woodland Elementary, Lindburgh, Back Bay High and Peninsula Park

Program Fees:

• Early Bird Registration Price: $125.00* ends 6/30/2024, 11:59 PM
  
• Regular Registration Price: $155.00* ends 7/28/2024, 11:59 PM
  
• Late Registration Price: $180.00* for registrations after 7/29/2024
  

*Program fee does not include MY2024-2025 $25.00 AYSO annual membership fee and a $2.75 National Service Fee.

READ BEFORE YOU REGISTER 

• AYSO Region 97 Fall 2024 Core Program runs from Aug through November 
  • Fees:
    • Early bird pricing at $125 through 6/30
    • Regular Pricing at $155 from 6/30 to 7/28
    • Late Registration at $180 for registrations 7/29 and after
  • Sibling Discounts: $30 discount for the first sibling and a $45 discount for the second sibling

• Core is AYSO's most common soccer program for kids ages 3 - 18 and unless you have received an invite for our EXTRA or SELECT program your player will be registering for our Core Program

• AYSO bases divisions on birthyear and not grade level which is the standard adopted by AYSO National.  If you're not sure in which division your child plays, review the birth year to division chart above. We cannot accept requests for children to "play down" into lower age brackets. 

• If this is your first time registering in Region 97, you must upload a scan/photo of the player's birth certificate for age verification. If you do not have a copy of your players' birth certificate, we will accept a passport in lieu of the birth certification.
  
  
• Players do not need to try-out for Core. As long as we have enough coaches, every child that wants to play gets to play.

• Practices for the Fall season will start at the end of August. Games are Saturdays with the first game starting on August 24th and will run through November 2nd for a ten-week season. The upper divisions (8U+) will have playoffs and your season may extend longer dependent on team qualifications.

• The practice schedule is entirely up to the team's Head Coach. The ONLY WAY to choose your practice days is to volunteer to be the Head Coach

• Teammate requests are allowed only in the lower divisions (5U through 7U) and please note we do not accept team requests for the 8U and higher divisions (see below for the few exceptions that are made)
  • Division Directors will email all registered players once registration has closed on July 28th to send their coach and team requests.
    • Do not email the Registrar or your Division Directors before that date as we are not able to form teams until registration has closed.
      
  • Please note siblings/twins in the same age division are placed on same teams.
  • The only way to guarantee a teammate at the 8U and above divisions is to volunteer as a Head Coach as all Head Coaches are allowed to "lock" an Asst Coach and a Team Referee and the volunteers' player (in addition to the coach's own player).
